Besides, the more you learn about ATVs, the better equipped you will be in handling this machine.

Getting Your Gear Together

When it comes to driving all terrain vehicles, safety should always be the primary concern. You should not attempt to drive an ATV unless you have the proper safety gear. This consists of a helmet with eye protection, non-skid, closed toe shoes, long pants, plus a jacket and gloves to protect you from injuries. Note that since you will be driving on rough and muddy terrains, you should take all the necessary precautions to keep yourself safe.

This is because all terrain vehicles are designed for one person only, and taking a passenger would just make everything a lot more dangerous.
